In Movement Therapy, our physiotherapists use the powerful tool of movement as medicine. These sessions are geared at looking at the individual biomechanics of a client and optimizing them through a combination of strength, mobility, power and proprioception.
Sessions are centred around a full body assessment. This assessment involves understanding the optimal kinematics and conditioned motor patterning unique to each person. All movement based therapy sessions are provided through a trauma-informed lens, and are suitable for all body types and fitness levels. Any physical restrictions found within the body can be addressed through soft tissue therapy and joint mobilizations. Physical limitations and difficulties can then be worked on through various prescribed stretches, exercises and spatial awareness drills.
This treatment may only be booked after a physiotherapy initial assessment has been completed.
